Our own toolmaking facility is a key factor in the Simon Group’s success. It is from here that the outstanding quality of our products comes, with 30 specialist staff and 15 trainees producing highly skilled precision work.

Tools are developed here, constructed, manufactured, maintained and, if required, repaired. Thanks to modern eroding, milling, turning and grinding machines and powerful CAD systems our staff are able to react quickly and flexibly to the wishes of both their internal and external customers. In addition to toolmaking, the range of services provided here also includes prototype production, short product runs and tool assembly.

We regard the training of toolmakers specialising in stamping and forming and of industrial engineers specialising in equipment and precision engineering as a particularly important task.
